Rachel McAdams turns 39 today, and it would be perfectly apt to talk about her movies and iconic roles, today. We all know about her chameleon-es, as she can magically transform herself for any role that she plays. She can Blonde, Brunette, Redhead and what not? You name it, and she would do it.
She can be your girl-next-door, or high school Queen Bee, or your perfect romantic actress, for many years to come. She is a director’s dream and audience’s fantasy.
We have decided to gather some of her iconic movies and roles, for her birthday collection. Have a look at them:
1. The Notebook
One of the most iconic romantic movie ever made had Rachel McAdams as Allie. She crushed the role of a woman, who was rich, likeable, real for the audience, in love and madly confused. It works out in the end, like all movies and became a hit.

2. Mean Girls
Rachel McAdams plays the character of Regina George, who is possibly one of the worst antagonists ever, she is mean, deceiving, controlling and belittling. She was just not any other high-school bully, she was the first ever Queen Bee with immense powers of making people do what she wants. Rachel played her flawlessly. Mean Girls came out the same year as The Notebook, but 3 months after The Notebook’s release. Rachel played Regina flawlessly and made everyone believe that she could do any character with the passion.

3. The Time Traveller’s Wife
It is another book to movie production, where McAdam played the character of Clare Abshire. While many felt that the book was much better than the movie, Rachel’s character was loved a lot. She did justice to her role and made every screen presence of hers, something to look forward to.

4. The Vow
The Vow is another romantic comedy, which is a must-watch if you’re into romantic movies. Rachel came together with Channing Tatum and nailed the character of Paige. She played a woman who lost her memory, specifically of her husband, and tried to recall what her life was like.

5. Sherlock Holmes
Rachel plays the role of Irene Adler, popularly known as The Woman, in the ever so famous Sherlock Holmes movie. Her character is the love interest of Sherlock Holmes, who is also witty and beautiful. This role was something new for her, which the audience liked a lot and grew fond of.
